Buying in south Florida

I was looking into purchasing a multi-family home in south Florida close to Miami. I talked to an investor I met from the area and, she advised me not to buy property down there because it will be underwater in 10 years. Is there any truth to this? So far I've looked at articles online but I've yet to find concrete evidence...

This is hilarious, this absolutely incorrect. South Florida has so many irrigation systems to prevent flooding. If you're looking to buy in south Florida go for it! It's great down here and the market is flourishing, don't feed into the rumors and negativity. The market in coral
Springs and Boca and Delray are awesome. Let me know if you want me to send you some properties. My info is below, also send me what you're looking for when you send the initial email.
