Direct mail Postcards or Letters

Hello all, I will be doing my first direct mail campaign in a week and i will be buying land. I have two formats for my campaign, a letter and a postcard. They are both drafted up and ready to go. I was just wondering which one you guys have found the most success with a letter or a postcard. As i will be sending out 500 copies that will cost around $200 i want to get the most responses for my money. Thank you in advance

@Steven Paul

Nice to meet you here on this forum. This may be somewhat off topic of what your asking but if I may can I ask you a few questions? I have been buying and selling land for many years so I know something about it as I find it is a very niche market and very misunderstood. I can see you are very ambitious as I remember the day when I started in land how excited I was. Who are these postcards going out to? What made you decide on land? What will you do with the land when and if you acquire something? I would be interested to follow you and see how well you do. I am here on BP to pay it forward so if I can give any advice let me know.

My thoughts just to answer your question would be the postcard as you do not have to open it and also depends on what the letter is entailed and who is getting the mail. I have never done a mail campaign before so that is the best answer I can give.
