Here is one for the group. Has anyone had any success or horror stories with buying a condo as a rental property?  I'm seeing some in the Kansas City area with prices around 50-90k with rents around 800-1000 for a 2 bedroom.

Condos can work as rentals. Its just math. I have found, HOA fee's are the deciding factor. You have less to deal with IE Roof, exterior paint, pool etc.

You do live in a democracy of owners. If the HOA is well run its great, if its not well run, Its not great LOL

Underwrite on a case by case basis. Sleepers can be found in this asset class. It is overlooked by most investors
