I met with a seller this morning and the first thing she said to me was

I am not going to give  you my house!

I want to know everyone's response,then I will tell you what I told her

I am trying to help out new investors that meet with sellers that have lots of objections

@David Wurzel

  this is a classic mistake many make.. pre judging a lead on the phone.  this is a belly to belly business.. unless you have 100's leads ... its not wise to do anything but make an appointment for a sit... then use your skills and sales techniques whether they are soft sell like Brian or hit you over the head the J Scott... but you would be amazed at the deals you make when they sounded rough on the phone and were completely different in person.

I worked for 15 years shagging leads and doing in home presentations... its night and day from phone and in home.. and a really great sales men can turn someone around on a dime.  Man I was good in the day  LOL... but I got trained by some pro's  its the one thing I think is very lacking in this industry today is not taking sales training class's paying for good instruction.. you have all these people spending 1000's on direct mail etc but have no sales or closing skills. and these are not god given you must learn them..
