Seems like this owner is unrelastic with the price of his house.
Hey BP, so I got my eyes on this property around the block from my house, this morning i went and knocked on the door but no answer, the house had a for sale sign from a real estate company but when i called the number they told me it was expired and that it is not listed with them anymore, they also told me the owner wanted 399k for the two family house, this guy might be crazy.
Keep in mind that this house's ARV is not even close to that. the comps on the block aren't even close to that number and this baby needs work! it basically needs everything done. I'm sure the owner wants to sell but i haven't directly spoken to him.
the location is great, has a huge yard and the neighborhood is golden, my question is when I finally speak to the owner what questions should i ask him, so I get the best information and not offend him when giving him an offer.
hope you guys understood the situation.
sincerely, Steven B

Find out why he's selling. It may be the reason for the AP.
...and by the way, the number he's asking isn't wrong...it's his house. He can ask whatever he wants...and be right. Doesn't mean he'll get it though. LOL
