OK - I do not understand.

I click "follow" then a window pops up saying so you want to follow and add as a colleague....

Is there an option for colleague and not to follow?

The pop-up window had more than I could view on my laptop and it did not allow me to scroll to read the rest of the window.

I am using Firefox & Vista.

Just my opinion, I'm not a big fan of the whole twitter like following thing. I'm just not.
I think the original colleague system was a bit more user friendly.
