Getting Spam From Other Members

I just received the following email in my gmail account.  I don't really care for members spamming me from this site.  Is this behavior within the rules of the site?

Hey @Arthur E. - Is this person your colleague? That would be the only reason they have your email address. Obviously, we're not a fan of this kind of stuff but if you are colleagues with someone, the possibility comes with having that relationship. I would just replay with "no thanks" and maybe de-colleague them here on BP.
