New BP look? What's the software?

Curious if anyone knows the forum software the Bigger pockets website is now using. Doesn't seem to be the typical Buddy Boss or Buddy Press platforms. Not a lot of old school forum-type websites around that still attract a crowd!

I like this format.

I hope they do not change it.

Great question! We have built the platform internally and do not use an external forum software.

Happy to hear you like the format! As Noah mentioned, the BiggerPockets platform is developed in-house by our software engineering team.

We're constantly improving the platform to keep it fresh and up to date. We have some new forum features rolling out to make it easier to see profile views and stats and many more features queued up for later this year. Let us know what you think!

@Eric Harper, our new Chief Product Officer, has already started to go to town bringing this site into the 21st century. We will have plenty more changes coming, including way better networking features on the forums, and I just went over wireframes for a mobile app with Eric today.

@Michelle Murtha - I think you will see some stuff start to really move pretty soon on BP, and in a way that you will like!
