Merging an REI group and Remodel company

Hello everyone! I am having a hard time trying to merge an REI group and Remodel business. In my head i would like to see it as on entity. Does this make since or am i over complicating the whole thing? Thanks!

    @Matt Romme You’re overthinking it. Contractors mostly want to get a job done and move to the next. Tbh, investors are the lowest paying clients, contractors might be busy catering them, but that’s only applicable to 2 guys and a truck kinda. Other forms are just investor with a contractors license and crew. Haven’t seen a group chug on one remodel company. Not saying it’s not possible.

    @Manolo D. So in this scenario i am the contractor and my partner is the investing side of the equation. I guess i should’ve clarified a little. In our eyes it makes some since to form an “umbrella” s corp to put both companies under. Just a new ball park and curious if anyone has had success with this in the past. Thanks in advance.
