@Pierre Preston Bigger Pockets does a deep due diligence on these lenders before they are allowed to sign contracts to be featured. 

What did you experience that seems like a scam?

I agree with @Wale Lawal There's nothing more valuable than a recommendation from verified source or colleague.  That being said, stick to the lenders on BP who have a long list of positive reviews from actual bigger pockets users.  Stay away from the ones who don't.
