BIG GOALS/VIVID VISION
What are some Vivid Visions you all have made? Drop them in the comments below! Tell everyone here your vivid vision and come back to this post one, two, or three years later to see if you accomplished what you said!
My VIVID VISION is to have completed 450 transactions in the next 3 years, whether it be sold listings, a flip property, or me keeping it as a rental!
The funny thing is that as I get closer to this goal, I am starting to think my goal was set too small! I am constantly reviewing this goal and giving myself task every week to do! Every week my partner and I recite the VIVID VISION and then we ask each other, "what did you do in the last week to get closer to this goal?" and "what can we do to get closer to the goal before next week?".
I challenge you set a goal that scares you. Do not worry about the how to. Set the goal first, then work backwards from there! Do not set goals based off of your ability, set goals based off of your potential!

Making 1/2 million dollars a year, 2-1/2 million dollar office building, million dollar house on a lake, exotic sports car, 2 cars, boat, jet skiis, being on TV, $50000 a month advertising expense...
...this is just a vision. I'm happy if it becomes reality and I'm also happy if it doesn't become reality. This vision is less than 25% of what motivates me to pursue real estate.
It's more about creating heaven on earth... creating a life and lifestyle that is my own private version and vision of a heaven on earth. It's about having the freedom to do what I've always dreamed of doing and spending my life in my own way. Everyone wants the best that they can get in every area of their life. I want to wake up when I want. I want to create the hours that I want. I want to wake up at 9am in the morning and go to the chiropractor. I hate alarm clocks. Having to be at work at 6:30 in the morning and wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning everyday sucks. Success is not so much how much money you've got in your bank, but it's to get up and do what you want... going to work at something that you're passionate about... something that you really enjoy... something that's emotionally compelling to the point that it doesn't even seem like work. My longest job has been in home improvements. I worked for my uncle doing home improvements for 5 years because I really enjoyed it. I got a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management because I really enjoyed it. I've spent a great chunk of my spare life in the past year learning about real estate because I really enjoy it because, to me, it's not work. I do it because it's so enjoyable. Sometimes on the weekends, I'm working on it and sometimes I'm working on it late at night because I really enjoy it. It brings me a lot of satisfaction to browse these forums everyday.. for the last 4 months. I enjoy those things. I enjoy learning about those things. That's the beauty of being able to spend your life in your own way because you get to direct your focus on tasks and things that you really enjoy. I want to get up everyday and do things that I want to do and what I choose to do.
