Northwest suburbs of Chicago investing

Sean Stadler
Posted

I am still learning and reading a lot about real estate investing.  I am interested in investing in the northwest suburbs of Chicago since that is where I live.  Does anyone know of good areas to invest?  I’ve been looking in Wheeling, Arlington Heights, and Buffalo Grove mostly.

Thanks

@Sean Stadler Someone just getting started in any investing should start with their goals.  What are you trying to achieve?  Strategies, including areas to target, should derive from the goals.

So asking what area is good for real estate investing will not get you an answer that is helpful   You have to be more specific   For flipping, for value-add apartment investing, for buy and hold?  Also, what kind of prices are you comfortable paying?  What sort of returns are you looking to achieve?

The more of these answers you provide, the greater chance the answers people give will actually help you.
