Hi. I'm in California and I'm looking to get my real estate license for the purpose of becoming a real estate investor. Any recommendations? Thanks!

To get a salesperson license, you need to finish a few online courses and take an in person exam. However, to get MLS access, you need to hang your license with a broker.

In order to get the broker license, you need to have a few years experience with another broker, etc. I don't remember the current requirement, you can check california DRE website.

It will cost some money during the process, and a lot of effort. If you are only selling your own house, I don't think its worth it.

You might spend more money than you can save.

However, if you plan to flip properties in CA, then it is a worthwhile effort.
