Wholesaling in San Antonio, TX

Helena Tran
Posted

Hi all,

I am brand new to the idea of real estate investment and am looking into wholesaling. I’ve done quite a bit of research, but there are still gaps in my knowledge that I’m trying to fill in. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me gain a little bit of insight on the business? Also anyone else in San Antonio who would be willing to help me get started? Thank you so much in advance to anyone who responds!

You're going to need a lot more than "a little bit of insight". Wholesaling is very simple; get a house under contract and sell it to another buyer for more money. Everything else is gained from experience, going through the process. So why not get a job in real estate if you're serious about it? That's the best way to gain experience, and then when you're ready you can hit the ground running.

The other option is to flail around with no experience and no knowledge, do a bunch of stuff you read about online, and hope to get lucky. This does work from time to time, but there's a reason 95% of aspiring wholesalers never get past the "listening to podcasts and posting on forums" stage.
