Exclusivity agreement with realtor
So I am a new investor and I met with a realtor who is a former investor himself. I left the meeting feeling good the only thing is he wants me to sign a exclusivity agreement. He said that it would be the seller that's pays him. But my question is is the contract still necessary. He said if things aren't working I can rip it up at any time. Should I be worried it is this typical. I live in CT

No. Homeowners sign them to protect the REA, and because the HO is only buying one property.
I use any number of agents. They all can't possibly cover everything. Don't handcuff yourself.
Ask your agent if he'll sign one with you...that he won't represent anyone else.
