Investing in St. Louis area?

Hello.

I am new to the St. Louis area, and I will be looking at properties in a few months (particularly duplexes).

Any advice on how to start examine the different areas and neighborhoods in St.Louis? Looking for a fairly nice and safe area. And any other advice on investing in this area is greatly appreciated!

Saint Louis has been great. I'm not sure I would take anything from CNN as a 100% valid source for real estate investing. Would love to connect with anyone from STL thats been investing or plans to!
