Investing in Indianapolis. Need a few pointers.
I am new to real estate investing. Trying to work out the details to fly out to Indianapolis to look at some properties plus the current property we bought through a turnkey provider. How do I find what class of neighborhood a house is?
Any recommendations to a young new investor?

@Jordan Filbrun nothing can take the place of knowledge and experience. There is no one place that you can go and look up the class of a neighborhood. Indianapolis can vary block to block and even street to street so you have to understand the nuances. Besides, everyone defines classes differently. The best way of getting a handle on an area is to know the median home prices and rents. A general rule of thumb is anything at 80-100% of median price will be a B class and anything 60-80% will be a C class, but this is very rough. In Indy, I wouldn't recommend any area with rents of under $750 for a 3br, We've been active in Indianapolis since 2010 and know the areas well. I'd be happy to help you if you want to reach out.
