How long does it take to build a quality credit profile?

So I just recently been accepted for my first credit card. Realistically, how long would it take to build a long enough credit history/profile to be able to qualify for a FHA housing loan?

Things to consider

**Two lines of credit are necessary to apply for an FHA loan.

What is your current credit?  Any judgements, liens, late payments, bankruptcies, etc.?

Get a copy of your credit report - dispute any inaccuracies

Keep your credit card balance below 10% of your available credit.

Establishing your credit/repairing your credit takes consistency and time.  Expect a minimum of 6-12 months to establish your credit.
