How to buy my first property by January

Hello all, I am fairly new to BP as is evident with my question. My wife and I are graduating college in December and we want to buy our first rental (duplex most likely). We will probably need an FHA loan in order to afford a down payment and house hack. What should we do first to get the ball rolling? Do I need a broker of any sort? Or should I set up an LLC first? Thanks for the help! Trevor T

I suggest that you start with educating yourself on the basics of real estate investing.  Google "best selling real estate investing books", after reading a few you should have a basic understanding and I have an idea what to focus on.  Additional books that focus on what you choose could be a good next step.  And of course, posting specific questions to this forum can be very helpful.
