No because with FHA loan with payments as low as 3.5%, if you look anywhere except for the top 10 hottest markets, you can find a good house hack. Partnerships complicate things - worst case scenario you'd probably be better off with a private loan from friends to start your househacking.

Or do you have 0 money saved up and want to partner with a friend the the money and then each of you takes one unit to live in and rent out the rest? That could work.
