Real estate licence benefits for investor
I am thinking of becoming a real estate investor and purchase some rental properties. I am a newbie. Would you recommend getting a real estate license first? Is having access to MLS myself beneficial? What are the pros and cons? Will knowledge received studying for the exam benefit me as an investors?
All thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

Yes it is beneficial. You can download all the forms you need, pull the best comparable sales with pictures, gain some basic real estate knowledge, put in your own offers. The main benefit is that no one is going to care about you getting rentals more than you no matter how much of a commission you pay a realtor.
The cons are it costs money and studying for the exam is annoying.
