18 years old and ready to put in the hard work! Need advice...
Hi, I am 18 years old and really determined to create great wealth through real estate. I am 2 months out from finishing my finals in school, and really desperately am amping to get started! I would like to know how someone of my young age can get started.. I don't mean the typical 'read a lot' or 'talk in forums', I will do all that too, but I have a habit of always talking too much and never taking action.. I am here asking for serious advice on how I can own my first property in the next few months to a year, I also have almost no money, but not letting that stop me. Thanks in advance :)

How are your social skills?
Real Estate is, first and foremost, a people business. Your success will, in large measure, be determined by the value you bring to others. A fellow named Zig Ziglar said it this way: "You can have everything in life that you want if you'll just help enough other people get what THEY want."
As for money, you'll need to learn about self-directed retirement plans and private money lenders. Who do you know - or who might you meet in the right places - who might want better-than-market returns on their retirement accounts? ... with less risk and less volatility?
Learn how to find, attract and partner with private lenders and you'll have more money for deals than you can find deals to work on.
Just remember to keep a balanced perspective. Do you REALLY want "slips of 'paper' with pictures of deceased notables on them" or do you want what you think the money will do for you? (Tony Robbins)
Dr. Steven Covey's advice is good, also: "Begin with the end in mind." Your vision will help you find the way. Create a big enough "why" in your life - your own destination - and the way will point itself out to you. Be open and receptive - it's not always obvious - and you WILL find it.
Something else to consider:
"Success is not a destination - failure is not an event. Success is a process, failure is a choice."
- D Joseph Benedict
