Hello BP,

My name is Tyler Moore, and I am a new investor in the Army National Guard who is currently on deployment. My goals are to do wholesale deals, and own residential and storage property. If anyone has any good books or websites they can direct me to that discusses real estate, business, or financial education please let me know.

Also, if you have any books about those subjects sitting on your book shelf that you have finished reading and don't want anymore, don't let it collect dust!! Just send it over to me so I can gain some knowledge.  I can PM you my mailing address if you are interested in sending me a book or 2.

Actually you can find almost anything you need right here in bigger pockets. I started out by downloading some of their free stuff and listening to many podcasts. I find that its important to be aware of all types of "deals" so that you don't pass up on a property because you are unaware that a property matches something outside of say wholesaling. If you have a bit of money to start with I suggest you use that to get a good mentor as opposed to blindly buying your first property. A good mentor is worth their weight in gold, at least mine was. He got me where I'm today and without him I probably would have ether taken longer or lost money. I learned from his mistakes, not from my own. Start reading through the forums on here and get to know all the different strategies. You may find that several are interesting to you. I think you may even be able to find a mentor..
