Completely New
Hello everyone! I've been doing some reading and listening to podcasts from this website for about a month now, and have finally realised how easy it is to become involved and learn even more through this website!
Any tips for a total newbie are completely welcome!
A little about me personally, I am only 20, looking for financial security. Everyone I talk to thinks I'm a little young toto be thinking like that and about real estate, but I havehave big ambitions. I work as an apprentice electrician and have been in construction since I can remember, so I have some knowledge of good houses vs bad houses. But again, totally new to all the lingo, strategies, and basic order of events involved in real estate investments.
I think thats all i hve for now. Thanks for reading!

Hi Trace! Thanks for introducing yourself to the BP community and welcome aboard.
To start out I recommend taking a look at the guides that BP has to offer. You can find these under the "Education" tab. First take a look at The Ultimate Beginners Guide

Once you have a better idea of the strategy you want to use to invest in real estate you can dive in deeper to build up a good foundation of basic knowledge in that area. You can find podcasts and blogs on this site that are packed with a ton of invaluable information and tips on many different strategies.
I also suggest that you visit your local Real Estate Investing Club/Association if you have not done that yet. You can meet a lot of the key players in your area at those meetings. They are a great place to learn and network.
Here's to your success!!!
