hello bp family. I'm in the St. Louis county (north and west) area and very new to real estate and would like to become an investor. I'm literally at ground zero. Any advice on what the first couple things I should do to get established first before jumping into this business? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

#1.  dont buy in Ferguson!!!

Seriously though, figure out what you want to do or accomplish.  Find people in your area who are doing what you want to be doing and take them out to lunch and pick their brain.  Get involved in your local investment club if there is one in your area and go there to network.

Good luck
