Hi,

I am looking into buying a multi family unit home in the Cleveland area. Can anyone tell me more about the market there? Did anyone buy a home from a turnkey investment place and has them now manage it? Anything I should worry about with investing in Cleveland? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Mark,

I do not know the market there but with the announcement of LeBron James coming back to Cleveland I read an article that he alone with cost an economic boom somewhere of the likes of $500 million a year.

The reason why this can occur is because good sports teams bring people into the city. This cost some to want to live closure to the stadium, others want to frequent restaurants.

Now if you compare what happen in Chicago with Michael Jordan.

If you want to see hard numbers, check with city hall --- each one has a department for land use, within that department should be something called development and planning.
