Started out wholesaling by leveraging 10k on a CC to buy the Astroflipping course.
My partner and I were playing monopoly one night 4 years ago. We were 23 and working different sales jobs- I was selling boats. We wanted more and my long time friend and now partner Chris started speaking about wholesale real estate. My eyes widened. We researched some courses and heard about Cody Sperber, Justin Wilmont, and Josiah Grimes. We went with Astro and watched all of Josiahs videos, he soon partnered with Jamil who became more of the face of the company. The ideas behind Astro was really to network with other wholesalers with properties under contract and then pitch that contract to your cash buyer list. The idea was good in theory but starting out most of the strong buyers and sellers in CT are a smaller pool and we didn't have much luck doing this method. We did take one bit of info away and it was about Batch Leads a texting software Astro referred us to use. We got our first deal in Hamden, CT off a text blast. It was a vacant SFR for $115k which we sold for $127,000 to a friends father who was a contractor that we knew, it later sold for $300,000. All it needed was a kitchen, bath, and redo the floors and paint. Since then we have done over 100 real estate transactions varying between wholesale, creative deals, lending, flips, and buy/ holds as Seaside Capital Funds.

Love hearing success stories. I always get nervous telling people I used credit cards to renovate BRRRR deals.
Credit cards are a double-edged sword that needs to be handled with caution.
Anyway impressive results.
