Hello,

For 2022 I plan on purchasing my 1st investment property. I have been doing my due diligence on bigger pockets website looking for good recommendations on property management companies, but not seeing many recommendations. Are there any PM to avoid or work with in the Houston area.

Thank you in advance for any opinions.

Happy new Year Marquis!

I own a property management company and we actively manage a few units here in Houston TX

Theres no perfect property manager, keep in mind its not always about price but really about peace of mind.

Heres some tips to look for when looking for a property manager

1. Look for specialized experience

2. Verify professional licenses and certifications

3. Find out how the company handles advertising, vacancies, funds, tenant relationships, evictions and maintenance repairs .

4. Compare prices and fees

Always remember its about the relationship and communication than it is about how much you pay when it comes to hiring a property manager.

hope this helps
