I was advised to look into getting the deed from an owner trying to avoid foreclosure. Then to make an investment from the property such as a wholesale. Does anyone have any advise or input on this subject? 

Would you say wholesaling a short sale is complex? I was considering Marketing to a few Expired Short sales from the MLS in my area and I'd like to hear from those who have done it before.
