Wholesaling a short sale. PLEASE HELP!!!

Good afternoon BP... I am looking to wholesale a property that is in the process of going through a short sale. I am looking for some insight into this process and what my options are, especially as it relates to negotiating the price with the bank. Also, once the property begins the process of a short sale and the bank assigns the property to an Agent am I able to still wholesale this property? Please help if you have gone through this process before or if you have insight and experience on this. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
