My question is how do I go about getting a reliable person in my first duplex? I'm going to be living in one of the units though. And is it a good idea to let the tenant know I'm the owner?

I think adding a filter to the Real Estate Companies Directory would make finding a specific company much easier than just searching alphabetically. Filtering by State and Industry would be a good start.

I've been considering using Craigslist to recruit Bird Dogs.  Know virtually nothing about finding and working with these folks.  Any pointers would be appreciated!
