Recently get a triplex and the city said it will cost 10k to add two water meters. Even at $100/month for water that would take me 8.3years to break even. Is it worth it or am I missing something?
Is it feasible or even possible to split the gas service for a duplex? I see that electric service is commonly split so each tenant can be responsible for the bills.
