Submetering cost 10k

Recently get a triplex and the city said it will cost 10k to add two water meters. Even at $100/month for water that would take me 8.3years to break even. Is it worth it or am I missing something?

Hey Chris,

Does not sound like it would be worth it based on the return it would yield you. Have you considered implementing RUBS? I am not sure if this is common in your area, but something to consider.
