Hello BPers I was going to attend my first local investor event/meet up and was wondering what people normally wear to these things.

I am very new to real estate investing but very excited about it and was told it would be a good idea to find some local REIA or regularly occurring local in person events for the purpose of networking with local investors and like-minded individuals.

Outside of West Oakland, what areas would you say are likely to go up in value over time - what pockets/neighborhoods are you looking at?
