There is a lot of lazy people that do not work at the same pace as you and sometimes you just have to toughen up and get things done that you normally wouldn't do.

And you probably understand I say that NOT based on my actual ROI $.From an ROI standpoint, I didn't lose money, but I didn't make much either.It got my journey started and it toughened me up for the future.I would never hope that anyone has to go through something like this, but I turned the adversity to a positive and I could never have imagined I'd be where I am now after this.

Ron has also toughened me up on the tenant front to keep it as fair and professional going forward.

I keep telling my fellow US investors how spoiled the are every time they start complaining about something (taxes, fees, regulations, rent, compliance, etc.) in the USA market ;-) Try making it in Europe and you'll need to toughen up by bringing along more time, patience and expect less yield.

I'm sure it toughened you both up after that brutal commute & temp living situation with the parents :)

These things have to be first toughen out the first few years, and that appreaciation will come in a 5 year span.
