I use a glass puller (double suction cup) and a rubber mallet.

The last tenant had a suction cup mat down and whatever cleaner they used just sat underneath and ate the finish up.

However some areas you can buy liens that didn't sell at the auction for face value first come first served.Some suctions are as @Jarred DeArmas says where the interest rate is bid down.

He covered it up with a suction cup that you hang things on. 

You don’t pay the taxes before you buy it.....they get paid off from the proceeds of the closing OR you could buy, then pay them later but no good reason to do that unless you were s day or two away from the suction. 

I learned the hard way that if you place a hot lid on the glass top it can create a suction and break the glass. 

The only negotiation that would occur is if the lender was doing a short sale....and with the suction a week away, not much incentive for them to do that. 

There are some portable cleaners that heat to higher temperatures, but they often come with two power cords, because they need two power circuits to reach the high temperature and provide suction.  2.
