Hello All,We are building  a house for sale and need to decide on the kitchen layout.

And you can be a landlord that gets a very poor return because they haven't utilized their space well by changing the layout.

It's an acreage property near the lake that has a main house (2/1), guest house (3/2), and small studio-layout unit (3 units on same property).

I'd talk to your zoning office and see. 3 bed 3.5 bath in 1500 sq ft is pushing it. we build super compact and have a layout thats 3 bed 2.5 bath 1 car attached garage in Columbus Ohio.

Prep that if gonna be in London public rest rooms on every corner is not a thing, so empty that "tank" before head out. 

Plus, very important to understand the new layout and how the dig down will effect the existing stairs, plumbing, etc.Happy to connect and talk through your specific situation because @Bruce Woodruff mentioned every project is different and know one price fits all espeically with these complex jobs.Where at in Chicago is your building?

Depends on if you have panels, crazy layouts, etc.

I'd love to look at the layout

Also, without even looking at the plans a 7 unit building will likely have flawed floor plans and/ or an inefficient layout unless its an irregular site.
