If I may, let me offer some tactical advice and then some unsolicited general advice.Tactical advice: marketing to traveling oil industry workers probably isn't radically different than what you have been doing to get your rooms filled with students.

The educational system in the U S is extremely lacking in the field of business/economics if someone can write a book as simple as RDPD and have millions of people say that the simple concept of if you save money and invest it in appreciating/income producing assets you’ll be better off than if you spend it on unneeded toys has radically changed their life’s because they never knew of or heard of that concept before.  

Stuff that may radically change your opinion of things.

A: I'd start by reading up on the previous 42,367 post's made this month asking "If/I have $_____, how should I start investing" and not assume post 42,368 would bring any radical earth moving change to the answers.

I’m proposing a radical reworking of how houses get bought and sold in the United States, and asking agents to comment on what would be major changes in how they work, who would compensate them, how, and how much. 

. $5mil, that will be radically different on what opportunities are approachable. 

No 1 of the individual could replace USD, no, only China and that's a GIANT "if" requiring nothing less than radical change of their entire system of governance and social framework of such that's rooted many many generations long so, all but no chance there alone.
