The sellers had put so much pots, plants, planters and shrubs out that I thought there were too many plants/planters that would require a new owner to upkeep.After a few potential buyer tours/showings, the owner heard all the comments (via the security cameras) about how there was a "lot going on with the plants and stuff out front".

@Nathan Adams Unless it needs to be painted there is not much you can do other than paint...not sure but maybe a clean light gray.Some older 1960’s condos here built bIg planters out of wood and galvanized metal...very cute.

Then create a patio/entry for each lower unit by a simple screen of an above-ground planter from the post to the stairs, or maybe at an angle to where the stairs begin.The rest is comparatively very simple... don't paint the brick, do the siding in a darker dusty green, the window muntins in a very dark gray (it'll match the black powder-coated hog wire balusters), get a very LARGE round fake attic vent for the gable,https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2196/8707/produc...and install a clete at the bottom of the gable which will look like a horizontal supporting member for the second-story columns.Lose those shutters, paint the entry doors a very deep, rich color, with the first and second story doors slightly different.

Well, said tiki torch fell over and caught the fence on fire.Luckily our old neighbor was woken up by the burning of the fence and was able to douse out the fire with a water hose.Between the burned planters and the burned fence.
