I saw one triplex where the guy put in brand new light oak laminate floor and he let the tenants paint .. they painted the walls a dark crimson color and never used a drop cloths they splattered it all over the floors around the perimeter of every wall .

Crimson trace grips - I hope if I ever have to turn it on someone there is a possibility the bright red dot sitting on their chest may change their attitude - plus the sights on a J frame are not quickly acquired.

Maybe a small flowering tree in place of that big bush to give it more color at least part of the year but not too big, or possibly something like a crimson maple (no idea if that would do well in FL but probably not) to give color year round.Good luck!
