How well do you know this contractor? 

I am looking for reliable contractors in the area that can do some work such as updating bathrooms, painting, change out appliances, etc. 

Communication with your contractor on design is only one aspect of the communication.

I’m under contract on my 1st property in CLE, the shaker heights area, which I’m very excited about BUT I’ve heard so many contractor horror stories.

Not sure what you've experienced, but we've found many contractors at Home Depot. 

Once you get that property under contract then get the contractor out there.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a general contractor or a contracting company for flipping and brrr deals in the kc area. 

I am contractor with 20+ years experience based just outside akron and would be more than happy to quote any rehabs before purchase and turnovers.  

(Also in the future - don't be freaked out by doing deals with contractors again.
