Installation of Security Cameras in Common Areas

Hello, we have a. apartment complex in LA County and want to install security cameras in the common areas. This is a two story unit and would need to install about 6 cameras. We are trying figure out the best way to address this issue. Can any of you make some recommendations on how we can install cameras without possibly having to use an internet network? Lately tenants have been doing things that can be a cause for automatically breaching their rent agreement and possibly evict them. Trying to stay ahead of the game and be proactive.  Any suggestions or names of companies that can do this type of job are greatly appreciated.  Thanks :)
