Gita,At least the way I prefer to do things is to only run accrual based accounting activity on my day to day operations.

Just about any bank can open a joint account. 

You can have an email for each account and you should be able to set your phone up see multiple accounts at once should you get inquiries or messages.Just log into each account to make updates and price changes.

You can collect rent, do your banking (unlimited virtual accounts), and do your accounting.

Sounds like internal accountability is really important to you!

if you have an LLC and both properties are under it, you just need 1 operating account.If both are under your personal, 1 bank account specifically for the rental is enough for operating.Security Deposits should always be a separate account altogether.

If you have an LLC, the accounts should be business accounts in the name of the LLC.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of any HYSA that are used for Business or any other Business account that will give me a high Yield? 

We also have a bank account at a smaller Chicago community bank, but there technology isn't as good to be honest.I think @Jonathan Greene's main point is don't step over dollars to pick up pennies.
