Anyone who's told me about these syndicators, I always think of the old Aesop's fable; the emperor and his new clothes.

Honestly, it seemed like the emperor - no matter how many best-selling books and seminars he's done - had no clothes.

This is Biggerpockets Nation and @Joshua Dorkin is its Emperor (hahaha).

I sold off our investments in 2007 because I knew the fundamentals were being ignored by the gurus and it was only a matter of time before something caused people to see the emperor had no clothes.  

I think there is a fear factor in many cases among experts that they'll look like the emperor with no clothes...

I consider this more of a proclamation: like Emperor Norton proclaiming himself the "Emperor of these United States."

If they are rewarded for continuing myths that the markets only go up and punished for writing about the truth, they will continue to ignore that the emperor has no clothes.
