I'm already pre-approved for an FHA loan and a huge perk is that I can eventually apply for a VA loan (since I have military background).

I guess most of what I'm seeing in my area are not technically duplexes, but rather referred to as twin homes or attached homes that share a party wall with another unit owned by someone else.  

Here is some background information: I purchased my first property in 2010, a three-level townhouse in Sterling VA (Northern Virginia, so pretty hot real estate market), close to a community college, plus there are quite a few government contractors and IT companies in the area.

And I believe you can only "loan" (its not technically a loan) yourself the money once a year.

I have a tech support background and am honestly bored from it after 11 years. 

What products have you had the best luck with for background checks?  

For example, how many wholesalers in Oklahoma still use enter into contracts without the financial ability or intentions to close themselves...lots and this is technically illegal in Oklahoma.

They said they do criminal record background checks, income verification, evictions and collection accounts.

I think an attorney with a great background who can also be a one stop shop for advice or referrals is always preferred.

Your eagerness to answer people's questions is admirable, but I think if you watch some of the conversations as they unfold, you'll learn a lot more of the technical aspects of accounting and taxation by reading and absorbing the answers from others.Most of the CPAs here have key word alerts and they will chime in on 99% of the tax related questions.
