I am renting a house at the moment and I'm wondering if I should: - Use the $50k for a deposit and buy a house for me to live in, and then I'll have no money left until I sell the inheritance house which I don't know how long it's going to take since it is for sale since last summer;- Use the $50k to buy a house to rent (Airbnb or normal renting) and make a profit from it whilst continuing to rent myself until I sell the inheritance house- Buy nothing until I sell the inheritance houseI am so confused what to do!

In six months, I've seen some weird things, had some disturbing moments, and you'd be suprised how "interesting" people really are. 

Hey @Anthoney Hanks, not completely similar but here I go: my wife and I started on this last year, we bought a house in Arlington made it rent... at that moment I was working full and she part time... the house had some problems and she helped a lot in dealing with the tenants and make the repairs needed... after some time she got a full time job so I understood she can not do that anymore, as also we have kids and they have activities and stuff... anyway, long story short I just recently hired a property manager not because the house had any problems and the tenants have been good, but just thinking about the future in case "anything happens"...

And to really give your brain a headache, consider for a moment that each sale is actually an opinion between a single buyer and a single seller, who have come to a single agreement, when the next buyer and seller may have come to an entirely different conclusion with respect to the sale price of the property!

Personally, I believe universities will push to re-open campuses as soon as possible; at this moment, it's looking like the fall semester.

That house hack sounds like a win, no matter what, but to take on several more, with the future of home prices might be more of a risk that it's worth at this strange moment in history.  

Literally the moment I posted this, a friend of mine actually let me know that he will be able to do it for both this week.

How is everyone figuring out rehab costs for wholesale and flips without being able to see the property due to lockdown, quarantine, stay at home, or simple just seller who don't want strangers in their home at the moment?
