Should I buy a house to live or buy a house to invest?

I have received $75.000 of an inheritance last year, plus 50% of a house that I am selling.

I have paid all my debts and now I have $50.000 left. I am renting a house at the moment and I'm wondering if I should:

- Use the $50k for a deposit and buy a house for me to live in, and then I'll have no money left until I sell the inheritance house which I don't know how long it's going to take since it is for sale since last summer;

- Use the $50k to buy a house to rent (Airbnb or normal renting) and make a profit from it whilst continuing to rent myself until I sell the inheritance house

- Buy nothing until I sell the inheritance house

I am so confused what to do! Any advice? Thank you so much in advance!
