@Ned Carey  thanks for the replyThe way the recorded lien reads is as follows: " the commonwealth of massachusetts, pursuant to MGL C 118E S 34 and MassHealth regulations at 130 CMR 515.012(A), hereby asserts a lien for the cost of medical assistance paid or to be paid against all property and rights to all property in Middlesex county, including the property more fully described......"

The 152,200 sounds like just the percentage they asses for taxes in that city or county based on total value.Throw out assessed value or lower at the seller and see what he says.I would guess office or medical office would go in that type of building.

My industry is stupid and acts like FICO scores are everything, but you don't have to be as stupid as we are compelled tobe.Look at the story the credit report tells you: Are they in the low 600s because of an unexpected medical thing that trashed their ability to fulfill their financial obligations forcing them to sell their home so they could get right with their creditors after several missed/late payments, or because of ridiculous and irresponsible luxury car payment that led to a repossession and them selling their home rather than face foreclosure?
