A showing is great for the tenant, as well as the property manager :D At the end of the day it is Rental Rate + Sq Footage + layout + features + included utilities that weigh in on tenant apartment psychology, no matter what you call it.

It could be anything from termites, dry rot, undersized joists for the span (design error), or perhaps some fasteners in the floor framing have failed.

In my area, the design of the septic has to be approved when it is built.It might be a hassle when both sides share the septic, but should not be show stopper.
