Though I did go back with all vintage door knobs, doors, rewired old light fixtures and custom built a few from scraps, and used the plank kitchen floor (unsalvageable due to rot) as the wall in the hallway.

Regarding pictures, I only take a snap of everyone room as needed for future reference and take pictures of any items you identify as issues from the list above.

It’s good that you are having a real estate agent come with you but I hope he or she has an investor angle so they can give you a compete picture of past present and future as well as opportunities and are well versed in the area.
